Hens & Chickens. They grow in clusters, big ones & little ones that look like hens & their chicks.
They always remind me of my maternal grandmother's rock garden in Basking Ridge - in fact this rock garden reminds me of that a lot.
The other succulent is funny, isn't it? I don't know what that is but I'm somehow expecting it's called an Octopus Plant or something - I almost hope so 'cause then we could call this the Octopus's Garden!

The "octopus" plant is another Sempervivum. Just has a different growth habit.
